Home learning and activities to access during COVID 19 school closure
Tue 31 Mar 2020Home learning packs have been provided to all pupils last week. This will provide a range of activities to support parents/carers including:
- booklets for maths, reading comprehension, grammar and punctuation exercises
- a topic project book
- a sketchbook for our budding artists and to relax!
Access to all our home learning platforms has already been provided including:
- Bug Club, Mathletics, Spellodrome and PIXL

School Closure due to Coronavirus outbreak
Wed 25 Mar 2020Following the government announcement on Wednesday 18th March 2020 and to reduce the transmission of the coronavirus we have closed our school until further notice.
The school does remain open for pupils of key workers and identified vulnerable pupils.
Please look after yourselves and stay safe following the government guidelines to support you and your families.

Inclusive Boccia Compeition
Wed 30 Oct 2019On Tuesday 6 children took part in an inclusive Boccia competition at Pied Heath School. The children competed against 5 different schools throughout the morning. They all tried really hard and for some of them it was their first time playing Boccia. The team just missed out on getting a medal and finished in 4th place. Well done Demba, Ayelka, Kyle, Nicholas, Subanyen and Manav. -
Year 6 Basketball Interhouse
Tue 15 Oct 2019On Monday the Year 6s took part in basketball interhouse competition. Each team played against the other houses in an attempt to win some house points. It was a really close competition. So close that Anning, Newton and Curie came joint first! Well done to everybody who gave up some of their lunch break to represent their house. -
Panathalon
Thu 10 Oct 2019It has been another successful week for Grange Park Junior school's sports teams. On Wednesday our team competed in and WON the Panathalon competition at Barnhill High School. The children competed in a range of activities such as table cricket and bowling. They all worked as a team to score as many points as possible. I was extremely proud of all ten children who took part.

Cross Country Finals
Tue 08 Oct 2019Congratulations to the Grange Park Junior School Cross Country team who competed at the Borough Finals on Monday. The children fought hard in poor weather conditions against the best in the borough.
A big well done to Sagal who came 2nd and Summayah who finished 8th.

Football League
Thu 03 Oct 2019Grange Park Junior School took part in their first football fixture of the season on Wednesday. They were playing at home against Hayes Park. It was a very difficult game with both teams making lots of opportunities to score. Grange Park fought hard and were rewarded with a 2-1 win. What a fantastic start to the season.
I would also like to say thank you to all the staff and parents who came to support the boys.

Cross Country
Thu 03 Oct 2019A huge congratulations to the Grange Park Junior School Cross County team who took part in a competition at Belmore on Monday 30th September. The children didn't let the bad weather stop them from running a very good race. Both the boys and girls teams have qualified for the Brough Finals that are taking place next Monday. I have to give a extra special mention to Sagal and Summayah in Year 6 who came 1st and 2nd in the girls race. Well done. -
Cross Country Interhouse Competiton
Thu 19 Sep 2019Congratulations to all children who took part in the Grange Park Junior School annual Cross Country competition.
All the children who took part worked hard to complete 4 laps of the school field and all received house points for participation.
