Striving to be the best that we can be

Summer Term Reading Update

Dear all,

I hope you are well and keeping safe at this moment in time. Grange Park Junior School have been delighted to receive a message from the lovely author and poet, Margaret Bateson-Hill, who visited our school in February. We just had to share it with you all!

Message from Margaret Bateson-Hill:

I hope you have enjoyed some sort of Easter break and that you and your families are well. I am contacting schools I have visited recently to tell you about a  collection of poems inspired by the present times, written by myself and fellow authors Mo O'Hara, Chitra Soundar and Dom Conlon available on my website; where you can also find my video of the Soap! poem and me reading my poems on Soundcloud.

There's also a fun craft to make a Soap! superhero.

I hope you all have fun listening to and/or reading the poems! I cannot wait to see your Soap! superheroes when we are back in school! 🦸‍♀️

Take care and stay safe,

Miss Vanden Tillaart and Miss Panesar
