Yeading Cluster Group- The Beck Theatre Event 2023

Children in Year 5 were selected to perform in this year's YCG event at The Beck Theatre! The theme of the show was 'Together, we can make a change!' and they performed an incredible drama piece based on 'Greta and the Giants' by Zoe Tucker. Well done and thank you to those who came to watch the show!

Grange Park Graduates 2023

We invited ex-pupils to come back to school! The Grange Park Graduates had a tour of their old school before meeting our current Year 6 children to share past experiences and offer advice as they transition into Year 7. The pupils said this was a valuable experience and the graduates enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane!

Yeading Cluster Event at Brunel University 2023

Our Year 5 School Council representatives were invited to attend a workshop at Brunel University! The workshops focused on inter-faith, diversity and respect.

Year 5's Air Quality Workshop!

To find out more about the charity we are raising money for, please visit the Comic Relief website!

Bupa Coding Workshop

The workshop took children on an exciting interactive journey by bringing coding and healthy eating together in byte-sized chunks! Children helped create algorithms to help Al the Robot pack a healthy school lunch. They had to design their own code, write the code, test it out whilst being a robot and debug any problems. They all had a wonderful time and learnt some new skills.

A visit from MP John McDonnell

Everyone was so excited to have MP John McDonnell visit our school! He met with the School Council to answer questions before featuring on our very own podcast! Click this link to listen to our podcast with John McDonnell!

World Book Day 2023

Pupils and teachers absolutely loved celebrating World Book Day by dressing up as some of their favourite characters! The children made such a big effort, it was hard picking the winners! A huge thank you to Miss Shinh for organising such a brilliant event.

Our local MP John McDonnell even came to visit us! He told us all about his favourite books and characters as a child... To find out more, listen to our podcast where he featured as a special guest:  Click this link to listen to our podcast!

iRock Assembly!

Rory from iRock came to visit our pupils to experience a slightly different morning assembly... The children had the opportunity to discuss music, bands and play instruments on our very own stage! All children went home with a newsletter explaining what iRock is and what they have to offer. To find out more, please visit their website: iRock

We met children's poet Kimba Bush!

Kimba is a former All American football player who started writing poetry and songs during university while studying Drafting and Design. He loved music and art from a young age but it wasn’t until university that he discovered his love for writing, art, music, performing lyrics and singing.

Kimba did a whole school assembly and workshops with us and the children created some fantastic pieces of writing! Thank you Kimba, we hope to see you again!
