  • Boys Football League

Thu 28 Mar 2019 Miss Norman

Grange Park Junior School boys football team competed in their final fixture of the season on Wednesday against Belmore Academy. The team came up against some tough competition and finished with a disappointing 6-0 defeat. The boys worked hard throughout the game and didn’t give up even though they were losing.

The C team also played against Belmore on Wednesday and were happy to get a 5-3 victory. They played really well as a team and worked hard to secure the win. A special mention to Shadhin who scored 4 goals!!!

Finally a big thank you to all the families and carers who supported us throughout the season. We wouldn’t be able to attend these fixtures without your help.

  • Girls' Year 5&6 Football Tournament

Fri 22 Mar 2019 Miss Norman

Last week the Year 5&6 Grange Park Girls' Football team took part in their first 5 aside tournament. They traveled to Goals, Hayes and played 7 matches against other teams from across the borough. This is the first time we have competed in a girls football tournament and they did themselves very proud. After a nervy start, they showed real resilience by coming back and securing 2 wins. A special mention to Isabella (Orchid) who scored three goals. We hope this is the start of many more girls footballing opportunities. Well done!

Wed 13 Mar 2019 Miss Norman
The boy’s football season is back in full swing. Grange Park were at home to Yeading Junior school on Wednesday 13th March. Even though we battled hard we were 2-0 down at half time. In the second half the boys fought back, creating endless chances and were unlucky to hit the bar and post. The team continued to show fantastic resilience, refusing to give up. The hard work paid off as we finished the game victorious, scoring 3 late goals. What a thrilling game of football!  Well done boys!
