Grange Park

Junior School

Striving to be the best that we can be

Welcome from the Headteacher

Grange Park Junior School is a wonderful place to learn, achieve and thrive.  With excellent teaching and an engaging curriculum that meets the interests of the school community, we are committed to help every child be Secondary ready – academically and socially. We want to aspire for our children to be the leaders of tomorrow, equipped to succeed in the 21st century.

We are proud to provide a broad range of exciting opportunities for all children to enjoy and learn, through clubs, trips, visitors and workshops. Our children can take on a range of important roles within the school and then have impact in and beyond the school community. The school has real strengths in its Music, PE and Foreign Language provision. The spacious grounds and sporting facilities promotes healthy lifestyles, allows the children to play with their friends and develop their physical skills too.

Our values based ethos provides guidance on how to behave and build relationships.  The children in our school display exemplary behaviour and are proud to be part of the school and this is demonstrated in how smart they look in their uniform.  The children feel safe and the school does not tolerate bullying, discrimination or harassment and therefore this forms the basis for the children to confidently strive to be the best that they can be.

Our PSHE curriculum supports children with their wellbeing, self esteem and resilience. We welcome all children to our school and we want to celebrate what they and their families bring into the community. No matter what their individual needs are, we will support them through additional support, targeted interventions and where appropriate the advice of educational experts.

When our children leave to go onto Secondary school we want them to leave with many happy memories, a passion for learning and a belief that everything is possible.
