• Artefacts are useful as they help us to discover what life was like in a different period of history.
• Read the Sources of Evidence - Alternative PowerPoint

• Watch the Ancient Egypt Artefacts video – BBC Bitesize
• Look at the artefact in the image below.

• Write a list of questions you have about the artefact.
• Can you answer some of your questions?

Tuesday - Ancient Egyptian Social Structure:

• Read the Ancient Egypt Social Pyramid Presentation. (Alternative)
• Draw a pyramid to show the social structure of Ancient Egypt e.g. pharaoh at the very top and slaves at the very bottom.
• Alternatively, use the worksheet provided to fill in the missing jobs. Add images to each job.

Wednesday - Landmarks

• Using your map from Week 1, place the landmarks in the correct place
• Can you find out information about one of the landmarks?

• Take a tour of  the tomb of Queen Meresankh III 
• List some facts you have learnt about her tomb in your project book.
