Our Curriculum Intent

Grange Park Junior School enriched curriculum is designed for children to learn more and do more. Through quality first teaching of our spiral curriculum, the children are able to embed the knowledge, skills and personal development that they have acquired through the broad and balanced curriculum. Through our personal development that is embedded within the exciting curriculum, our children are able to develop important, life-long skills, values and aspirations that will prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow. Our modern, relevant and inclusive curriculum allows all children to reflect and engage thoughtfully with the local, wider and global community. The curriculum celebrates and embraces our diverse community, which encourages our children to appreciate the world around them and therefore becoming empathetic and caring citizens.  Through participation in a range of engaging opportunities, for example clubs, visits, competitions, sports and the arts our children develop a growth mindset, resilience and a passion which enables them to strive to be the best that they can be.
