Our Vision and Values
Grange Park Junior School works in partnership with our local community and are committed to provide quality education in a safe, supportive and stimulating environment. We value each pupil and encourage everyone to achieve their full potential.
Our school motto is: Striving to be the best that we can be!
Our Ten School Values are:
Respect, Determination, Being Aspirational, Resilience, Courage, Integrity, Kindness, Empathy, Friendship and Equality
Our Mission Statement below incorporates our School Values:
Learning is not just one challenge,
It’s a constant test of our determination and resilience,
Learning is not just our passion,
It’s our navigation through life,
Learning is about being aspirational,
And believing that everything is possible,
It’s courage that never knows when it’s beaten
And an endless thirst for knowledge
We are more than just one child, or a class or a school
We are a community built on integrity, equality and respect
Where friendship, kindness and empathy lie at the heart of all that we do,
We are not just the learners for today,
We are the leaders of tomorrow
Because we are always….
….Striving to be the best that we can be!
Our royal blue uniform contains our logo of an oak tree and the aspirational words: Leaders of Tomorrow
The values, our school motto and logo are embedded through our behaviour for learning strategies; they are regularly discussed by staff and promoted through school assemblies and PSHE sessions ( Personal, Social and Health Education). We aspire for our school community to ‘live’ our values.
At Grange Park Junior School we enable pupils to reach their full potential by promoting educational excellence, matched to the ability of each pupil, in a caring, happy and welcoming environment.
We provide a balanced broad curriculum where all pupils are included and have the equal opportunity to learn.
Pupils are encouraged to develop their self-esteem, responsibility, and respect for others through living our school values.
Pupils are encouraged to appreciate individual differences and to respond positively to life in a multi-ethnic society.
Grange Park Junior School encourages pupils to display a positive attitude to work and an exemplary standard of behaviour.
