Week beginning 20/4/20

Starting this week, Oak National Academy has created a variety of lessons that are free to access every week day. Please follow the steps to access these daily lessons. Children can use their exercise books to complete the work.  

 

1. Go to https://www.thenational.academy/

2. Click 'Classroom' in the top right corner of the screen.

3. Then, go to 'Subject' 

4. Go to 'Year 6'

5. You will then see the Maths and English folders. Please complete one lesson from each folder daily. 

 

In addition, please complete the following tasks over the week:

 

Reading

1. Read 20 minutes daily from your Oxford Reading Tree book (or other book if finished)

2. Bug Club (minimum of 30 minutes a week)

3. 10-minute test books (1 test a day)

4. CGP Practice Papers (one test a week)

 

Maths

1. Mathletics (10 minutes a day)

2. PiXL times table app activities (20 minutes a day)

3. 10-minute test books (1 test a day)

4. CGP Practice Papers (one test a week)

 

Spelling

1. PiXL Unlock app (20 minutes a day)

2. ReadiWrite/Spellodrome (30 minutes a week)

 

Grammar

1. 10-minute test books (1 test a day)

2. CGP Practice Papers (one test a week)

 

PE

Please complete a Joe Wicks, BBC Supermovers (KS2) or Cosmic Yoga activity each day.

Miss Norman has also created exciting physical challenges, healthy recipes and mindfulness activities. See the attachment below:
