Welcome from the Headteacher

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Grange Park School, a school where we are ambitious for every child and proud of everything our pupils achieve. From the moment children begin their journey with us to the day they leave for secondary school, our aim is simple: to give them the knowledge, confidence, character and opportunities they need to succeed. We believe children achieve their best when they are happy, feel safe and know that the adults around them believe in them. That is why we combine high expectations and excellent teaching with a caring, inclusive environment where every child is known, supported and challenged. Our academic outcomes demonstrate those high expectations. In 2026, 97% of our Year 1 pupils passed the Phonics Screening Check, our pupils achieved an exceptional 24.59 out of 25 average in the Multiplication Tables Check, with 85% achieving full marks, and 83% of our Year 6 pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Mathematics combined.
But a Grange Park education is about much more than results. We want our children to discover their talents and develop the confidence to try something new as personal development is central to our ideas. Through sport, music, trips, clubs, Wrap Around Care, leadership opportunities, swimming in our heated pool and our free 11+ preparation from Year 3, we work hard to provide experiences that broaden horizons and raise aspirations.
Our values are visible in the way our children learn, behave and treat one another. We want pupils to be kind and respectful, resilient when things are difficult and ambitious about what they can achieve.
Most importantly, we want children to enjoy their primary years. When they eventually leave Grange Park, we want them to take with them wonderful memories, strong friendships, a love of learning and the belief that their future is full of possibility.
There is no better way to understand our school than to experience it for yourself. I warmly invite you to visit Grange Park, meet our children and staff and see what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.
