Last week was a very busy week for Grange Park Junior School. It was National Sports Week, which meant we had a range of different activities going on throughout the week. On Monday Year 6 got the chance to try out BMXing, on Tuesday Year 4 showed off their Taekwondo skills, on Wednesday the Year 3s were trying to hit 'holes in one' in a Tri-golf taster session and on Thursday the Year 5s had their fitness tested in a boxing session.
We were very lucky to have great weather all week which meant all of the children also had the opportunity to run a mile each day, which they did with much enthusiasm.
The fruit stall was a big success for the third year in a row with lots of children bringing money in to purchase a pot of fruit or a banana. Now lets continue this healthy trend by children bringing in their own healthy snacks each break time.
Lastly, thank you to all the parents who attended the mindfulness sessions with Miss Phillips, we hope you feel relaxed and recharged for the summer ahead.
